I have Dog x Cat on my to-read-soon pile – it does look pretty entertaining upon initial flip through so I’m looking forward to it.

Rare I find is there a case where the secondary characters in boys’ love don’t prove more interesting than the leads – maybe because main characters have that tried-too-hard-and-overdid-it feeling from the creator sometimes.

Akira’s story was much more interesting and captivating than the main story. But I found myself enjoying the other 801 title released at the same time, Dog x Cat.

From the font of the title, I thought this was called ‘Love Kit’ at first, which sounds like a very different kind of manga.
