As long time fan of the series, I have to post that Blade of the Immortal (currently being released in NorthAmerica by DarkHorse) is being adapted into an anime. I’ve heard similiar rumours here and there for years so hopefully this one’s the real deal.

With the New York Anime Festival contests behind us, it’s time for some new art contests!

Anime North has two running contests this year, a manga contest, using Canadian folklore starring their mascot, and a general AN mascot drawing contest. The grand prize winner of the first will be published in Anime North’s first doujinshi book while the winner of the second will be awarded a full weekend pass to AN 2008 including a table in Artist’s Alley.
